Wedding season is here! And in honor of wedding season, one of our favorite times of the year, we want to give you event inspiration, educate you on one of the latest color trends, and teach you a DIY chair skirt that will wow your guests while keeping your budget intact. If you haven't heard, there are two colors of the year for 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity. When planning a wedding, or any event for that matter, it is important to stay within your budget while delivering an elegant, low stress, memorable occasion. Keeping these things in mind, we designed our Adelaide Collection that will give your event the rose quartz look at a fraction of the rose quartz price. The Adelaide Collection is elegant, dainty, and has timeless, traditional elements. These elements make the tablescape perfect for weddings, bridal showers, brunches, Mother's Day, birthday parties, and dinner parties. We started with a white tablecloth and a light pink satin overlay for this tablescape. For a warmer, more rustic look, try using an ivory tablecloth. We added a beautiful laser cut paper placemat, ivory lace plates, and a silver charger plate to the ensemble which adds dimension and ornate detail. We dressed up the table by using a light pink and an ivory satin napkin. We then pinched the ivory napkin together with ribbon and flowers so that the napkin resembled a bow-like shape. If you would prefer a less formal look, you can use polyester napkins instead. Adding shiny silver flatware, an alluring cake stand, and crystal-like glasses will carry out the classic, chic feeling making you and your guests feel like royalty. Bring your colors together by adding flowers of your choice onto the cake stand. You can also add candles to the centerpiece for a romantic finish. If you love our rose quartz inspired wedding tablescape, check out this DIY chair tulle skirt tutorial: This tulle chair skirt will charm your guests and it pairs beautifully with the Adelaide tablescape. You can use tulle chair skirts for just the bride and groom or the entire head table at your event. If you are hosting a non-profit event, you can make these chair skirts for sponsors and people who make generous contributions. We used the champagne chair cap, light pink satin chair sash, and light pink tulle, but you can use other chair cap, chair sash, and tulle colors to match your events theme. Love this look?
