Peanut Butter Granola Apple Rings

You won't even have to hide the cookies because everyone will be lining up for a taste of these healthy party treats.

Ingredients for apple rings:

  • 1 cup cinnamon-pecan granola
  • ¼ cup natural-style peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 red or green apples (core and slice into 6 rings)
Ingredients for cinnamon-pecan granola:
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoon canola oil
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup uncooked rolled oats
  • ½ cup pecans (chopped)
Directions for cinnamon-pecan granola:
  1. Preheat over to 300 degrees F
  2. Combine and microwave brown sugar and water for 30 seconds or until sugar is dissolved
  3. Mix in oil and cinnamon
  4. Stir in oats and pecans
  5. Spread oat mixture on baking sheet
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until browned, stirring twice
  7. Allow to cool
  8. Store in an airtight container
Directions for apple rings:
  1. Combine peanut butter and honey and stir until smooth
  2. Fill small bowl with granola mixture
  3. Spread peanut butter and honey mixture evenly on each apple slice
  4. Sprinkle evenly with granola
