So, you've decided to use round tables for your wedding, but aren't quite sure what size tablecloth you need. Take a deep breath, blow out all of your stress, and let us help you! This tablecloth size guide for round tables will show you how tablecloths look on round tables so you can determine the look you like best and check tablecloth selection off your to-do list.
First up, the 60" round table. 60" round tables are one of the most common round banquet tables found at weddings. A 90" round tablecloth will drop 15" and fall to your lap when seated at a 60" round table. Table legs will show, but this is a great option for a wedding on a budget - less tablecloth = less investment. The 90" round tablecloth also works well for informal events. The next size is the 108" round tablecloth. 108" round tablecloths will drop 3/4ths of the way to the floor on a 60" round table. This tablecloth will cover up a little more of the table legs, but give your guests ample leg room without a tripping hazard - a happy medium! 😀 And finally...the floor drop. A 120" tablecloth will drop to the floor on a 60" round table. The floor drop provides an elegant, more formal look and is a great way to add a bit more color to your event (if you choose to use a colorful tablecloth).
The other common banquet table found at weddings is the 72" round. A 108" round will drop half way to the floor on a 72" round table. If you want that happy medium that shows a little bit of the table legs but prevents guests from taking a tumble, choose a 120" tablecloth. The 120" tablecloth will drop 3/4ths of the way to the floor on a 72" table. 132" tablecloths will fall to the floor on a 72" round table and will administer an elegant ambiance.
