As much as I love the idea of hiring a food truck for a Labor Day, that just isn't in everyone's budget. But you don't actually need a food truck! You can easily create that same environment with your cuisine and your serve-ware. So put together a food truck-like menu with your favorite fare and serve it up food-truck style!
Hand-cut fries and signature cocktail
Cocktail hour: Choose a signature cocktail and serve in mini glasses with your hors d'oeuvres. Hand-cut fries and fancy sauce (ketchup, mayo, and garlic powder)...who could refuse? Our mini duo section cups are perfect for serving side-by-side!
Keep your place settings minimal. Napkin, fork and knife, and menu card. We dipped our utensils in tangerine paint to coordinate with the teal and tangerine theme, and placed a sprig of dill at each setting.
Salads: We pick was the All-American with bacon, cheddar, tomatoes, cucumbers, and iceberg, and the Cranberry Walnut with feta and field greens.
Entrée: How cute are these gourmet sliders?! Talk about mouth-watering. This burger speaks for itself!
Dessert: Creme puff pastries are a great cake alternative!
Add orange slices to your centerpieces for a beautiful pop of color and citrusy scent! You can even use floral stems to cut costs and still have the lush aroma.
