For my 30th birthday, I decided to make my own desserts. I wanted to come up with a uniquely tasty recipe that was so "me" and I think I achieved that with this peach champagne cake recipe. It's very easy and very delicious and the best part is, you can use this basic recipe to create any flavor cake you want!
What you need:
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 small box peach Jell-o mix
- 1 bottle peach flavored Verdi sparkling wine
Preheat your oven and mix up your cake batter as directed on the box of cake mix, with one exception - substitute CHAMPAGNE (or in this case, sparkling wine) for water. The same measurements will apply. Basically you only need one cup, which means there's plenty of bubbles to keep the rest of this baking process fun. I think that's my favorite part of champagne cakes! While you're mixing, add in the packet of peach Jell-o. Bake according to your cake box directions and decorate as you wish. I recommend buttercream icing, it's delicious and you can also save some of the Jell-o to flavor it as well. Black With Gold Embossed Rim Plastic Dinner Plate
