Dress Up Your Party Tablescape!
Tea Light Table Lamp
The look of the room and the look of the table is often the first thing you imagine when you are planning a party. Whether it's an elegant wedding reception or a festive holiday feast, you're going to need to set your table, so make sure it's as chic as it could possibly be!
So, here's a fabulous idea of how to transform a few basic glasses and a bunch of basic tea lights into the most incredibly enchanting decorative lighting. These adorable DIY Tea Light Table Lamps are an easy and elegant way to dress up your tablescape for a formal occasion. I honestly threw them together on a whim using things I already had around the house (and the office).
Materials:
- Tea lights
- Cupcake liners
- Glass, shot cups, champagne flute, etc.
- Filler (i.e. beads, rhinestones, pebbles, gems, whatever floats your boat)
I had a set of iridescent glittered cupcake liners in the closet here and thought, gee, wouldn't these be cute little lamp shades? I grabbed a couple of our plastic glasses from the sample room - a mini shooter and champagne flute - along with some tea lights and pink beads from my craft room at home. Fill your container up far enough that you won't see the tea light under the cupcake liner, but not so full that it sits out the top. Pop in your tea light and throw on an upside down cupcake liner and you're all set.
